Key Student Visa requirements

Your application will generally require a valid CAS from a licensed Student sponsor, evidence that you meet the financial requirements, and evidence of the required level of English where applicable.

  • CAS – your university or education provider must issue a valid Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies.
  • Financial evidence – you may need to show sufficient funds for your outstanding tuition fees and living costs.
  • English language – you must meet the applicable English language requirement for your course and circumstances.
  • Supporting documents – your application must include the documents required for your individual circumstances.

Financial evidence can be particularly important, as the funds generally need to meet specific requirements before you submit your application.
